Mr. Carswell is Senior Managing Director, Capital Advisory at Lee & Associates' New York office.

Since gaining experience in leasing, development and asset management, and relocating to New York City in 2018, Mr. Carswell's work has concentrated on mortgage financing and capital formation. His creativity and deep experience on the owner's side combined with exceptionally strong lending relationships provides him with a distinct perspective and value proposition for his clients.

Areas of focus for the NY-based team include Industrial, Office and Retail asset classes, and it is strategically positioned to provide complementary and critical service offerings for the company's existing clients and investment sales brokers. He is known for his collaborative ability to work across business units, asset classes and geographies, facilitating more than $600 million in financing activity.

Mr. Carswell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University at Buffalo and a Master's in Business Administration from Medaille College. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and currently serves as its Chair of the Commercial Finance Committee. He is also a 3-year board member of the Young Men's and Women's Real Estate Association of NY (YMWREA). Additional affiliations include ULI-NY, the Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG) and the Commercial Industrial Brokers' Society (CIBS). Dave resides in Astoria, NY, and enjoys spending time with his family on Long Island.
